Required Book Reports and Format

Students in grades four through twelve will be required to submit book reports each quarter. Books selected for independent reading must be approved by the online instructor.

The format for reporting on a selected book's content is as follows:

1.Title - The title of the book.
2.First paragraph - a summary explaining what the book was about.
3.Second paragraph - Any special characteristic of the book such as unusual
subject matter, technical information, more detailed information on the subject.
4.Third paragraph - A critique of the book describing your impressions of its
effectiveness in telling the story or conveying the information.
5.Fourth paragraph - How you liked the book and your recommendation to other
readers.
